In April of 2010, just before moving back to Toronto from Vancouver, I had the privilege of working on the Untitled Seth Rogen Project, which was called I’m With Cancer at the time. I remember there being a suggestion box on set for a new title for the film. It eventually became 50/50. I had initially auditioned for a very funny role of a Laughter Therapist, which was written out so they brought me back in for the Cute Nurse. Which became the Friendly Nurse when I was cast.
The final edit is shorter than the actual scene but still, a wonderful experience and Ms Huston is one of my idols…
